Mastering Primary Teeth Pulpotomies: Techniques and Best Practices for Dental Professionals

In 2017 the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry released Clinical Guidelines for the Use of Vital Pulp Therapy in Primary Teeth with Deep Carious Lesions. In 2024 the AAPD updated the most current evidence. This webinar will review the 2017 Clinical Guidelines and highlight changes. Treatment modalities that are currently used include indirect pulp therapy, direct pulp therapy, and the coronal pulpotomy. This lecture will cover treatment modalities for deep carious lesions in vital primary teeth, and the use of bioceramics to achieve clinical success.
