Dr. Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering (2009) and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (2013) from the University of Iowa, followed by a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dr. Johnson has taught courses on integrating digital workflows in pediatric dentistry, including the use of intraoral scanners for diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education. These technologies are part of modern digital dentistry, which often connects directly to CAD/CAM and 3D-printing workflows for appliances, models, and restorations. He has also incorporated advanced materials and modern restorative techniques—such as zirconia crowns and digital-based case planning—into his lectures and clinical practice.
